He likes a more traditional offense that does just enough scoring without putting his defense at risk. The kind of up tempo attack he likes to run is simply not a match for what head coach Kirk Ferentz wants to run. There is of course, an argument that Iowa is simply not a fit for Scott Frost.
And it certainly seems as though Frost might love to have the chance to stick it to his old school. Following the firing of Brian Ferentz, the Nebraska Football rival has an opening. There is at least some chance, according to the analyst that the Iowa Hawkeyes could be eying Frost. I would add Florida but I am not sure yet on that
